..Respondents Prayer:- The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to include the petitioner's name namely S.B.Saranya as selected candidate for the Under 19 years Volley Ball team to participate under School Games Federation of India by considering the representation dated 07.10.2013 issued by the Principal to the Holy Angels Matriculation Higher School, Fair Lands, Salem.

Heard Mr.R.Nalliyappan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Munusamy, learned Special Government Pleader (Education) for the respondents.

2. This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to include the petitioner's name as a selected candidate for under 19 years Volley Ball team to participate under School Games Federation of India, by considering the representation dated 07.10.2013.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that at the time of filing of this writ petition, the petitioner was studying 11th standard in Holy Angels Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Fairlands, Salem and now she had completed her studies. Hence, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

4. Considering the facts of this case and the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
