This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.02.2025 wherein the petitioners are seeking for transfer of allotment in their favour.
2. Heard Mr.R.Dilli Kumar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mrs.K.Indumathy Venkatesh, learned counsel appearing for respondents 1 and 2.
3. The allotment was made in favour of the mother of the petitioners 1 to 3. She died on 28.11.2017 leaving behind four sons and three daughters. It is brought to the notice of this Court that out of the four sons two sons died. The respondents 3 and 4 are in possession of the property. It is under these circumstances, the petitioners submitted a representation before the 2/4
respondents 1 and 2 to transfer the allotment in their favour.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 03.02.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law and take a decision and convey the same to the petitioner within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
