ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's Appeal Application dated 01.04.2026.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he preferred an appeal before the 1st respondent dated 01.04.2026. However, no orders have been passed on the said appeal till date. Challenging this inaction on the part of the 1st respondent, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the appeal, directs the 1st respondent / Commissioner of Land Administrative, Chennai, to consider the appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 01.04.2026 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
