ORDER

(Order of the Court was delivered by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) It is the claim of the petitioner that there is a public pathway running across Survey Nos.28/4, 27, 33/2, 34/2, 34/10, 35, 38, 40/2 and 40/5. While some of these survey numbers are classified as Government Promboke, some of them are patta lands. The report of the Tahsildar, Yercaud dated 14.07.2025 forwarded to the learned Government Pleader shows that steps are being taken for surveying the public pathway and remove the encroachments.

2. In view of the said statement made, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the direction to pursue the action taken to its logical conclusion. There shall be no order as to costs.
