ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 3rd respondent to comply the order passed by the second respondent vide Na.Ka.No.1468/2018 dated 15.02.2019 within a stipulated time and consequently direct the first respondent to pass appropriate order in view of the decision taken by the second respondent in vide Na.Ka.No.1468 of 2018 dated 15.02.2019.

2. Heard Mr.M.Balaji, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.G.Nanmaran, learned Special Government Pleader for R1 & R2, Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned counsel for R3 and Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned counsel for R4. Page No.2 of 6

The petitioner who was working as a Computer Assistant has stated that the third respondent has passed an order to treat her case as a special case and forwarded the recommendation to the first respondent through the fourth respondent. However, the petitioner learnt from the first respondent that the recommendation has not been forwarded from the office of the fourth respondent.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the recommendation has been given by the third respondent, the same could not be considered by the first respondent Government in view of the file kept pending with the fourth respondent. However, in the letter dated 29.07.2019 of the fourth respondent, he has stated that the file has already been sent to the second respondent.

5. Since the limited anxiety of the petitioner is to get her promotion proposal considered, the third respondent is directed to seriously check at whose table the file is still pending and do the needful to forward the file to the first respondent. On receipt of the same, the first respondent shall Page No.3 of 6

pass orders in accordance with its merits, within a period of four weeks.

In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed and the third respondent is directed to seriously check at whose table the file is still pending and do the needful to forward the file to the first respondent. On receipt of the same, the first respondent shall pass orders in accordance with its merits, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
