O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to consider and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the representations of the petitioner, dated 12.03.2023 and 01.07.2023, with regard to re-transfer to Thanjavur, within a time frame. 2.The petitioner states that he was working as Superintendent at District Education Office at Thanjavur and subsequently, he was transferred from Thanjavur to Krishnagiri District, vide transfer order dated 29.11.2022. The petitioner has also joined duty in the new place. The petitioner further states that he submitted various representations and last such representation on 01.07.2023 to the respondent for his re-transfer from Krishnagiri District to Thanjavur District, mainly on the ground that he has two sons studying in 8th and 10th Std. at Thanjavur and he has to take care of his aged mother. Since no orders have been passed on the representations made by the petitioner, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials on record.

4.Considering the limited nature of the prayer sought for in the present writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case of the petitioner, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner, dated 12.03.2023 and 01.07.2023, and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
