ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct an awareness programme based on the representation made by the petitioner on 12.12.2020.

2. Heard Mr.Ramesh Manikandan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Mohammed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. It is seen from records that the date that was fixed for the meeting is already over and therefore, the relief has sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court. If in case, the petitioner plans to hold any meeting in a future date, it is left open to the petitioner to seek for necessary permission from the respondents and the respondents shall consider the application given by the petitioner seeking for permission strictly in accordance with law.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
