ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to quash the demand notice bearing Ref. No.55-00-042333-000-1302/ RRO dated 18.5.2026 passed by the respondent herein and allow the petitioner to pay the due amount of Rs.1,60,16,509/- (Rupees One Crore sixty lakhs sixteen thousand five hundred and nine only) in 60 equal monthly installments.
2. Mr.Bharadwaj, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondent.
3. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the orders passed by the respondent demanding outstanding amount of Rs.1,60,16,509/- is not disputed. However, in view of Value Added Tax the financial shape of the Institution, the Institution seeks indulgence of this Court, in granting 60 equated monthly installments to pay the outstanding amount. The learned counsel for the petitioner would also submit that this is the first time the petitioner has come to this Court seeking installments to pay the outstanding amount of Rs.1,60,16,509/- and there are no earlier orders by this Court.

However, this Court is not inclined to grant 60 installments, but the petitioner shall pay the said outstanding amount of Rs.1,60,16,509/- in 36 equated monthly installments starting from July 2026. It is needless to state that any non payment during this course, shall entail the respondent to proceed legally in accordance with the Act.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
