Captioned 'Criminal Miscellaneous Petition' (hereinafter 'Crl.M.P.' for the sake of brevity, convenience and clarity) has been filed with a prayer to dispense with production of certified copy of charge sheet qua Spl. C.C.No.03 of 2023 on the file of Principal Special Judge for CBI Cases, VIII Additional City Civil Court, Chennai.

Mr.R.Sreedhar, learned counsel for petitioner drew our attention to paragraph 17 of the petition which says that original records pertaining to impugned ECIR and 'all allied documents' are not available. However, in the hearing, learned counsel submits that the charge sheet and the support documents are voluminous and therefore the first respondent has supplied the support documents qua charge sheet to the petitioner only in compact discs.

Crl.M.P. No.10820 of 2023 in Crl. O.P. SR. No.35089 of 2023 adequately articulated in the petition. However, considering the M.SUNDAR,J., and R.SAKTHIVEL, J., mmi innocuous nature of the prayer, captioned Crl.M.P. is being ordered but with a caveat that in days to come, the pleadings will be examined in the light of the observations made supra. Captioned Crl.M.P. is ordered as prayed for.
