Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorari to call for the records of the 2nd respondent in proceedings No.Nil dt.13.12.2013 and quash the proceedings dated 13.12.2013 issued therein.

ORDER

The petitioner challenges the order of eviction passed by the 2nd respondent under Tamil Nadu Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1975

2. The learned Government Advocate on instructions submitted that the possession of the premises was already handed over to the respondents on 07.07.2014 and hence the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous.

3. In the light of the above submission, this Court is of the opinion that no further adjudication is necessary in this Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
