Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for revision of his pensionary benefits (PPO No.R2108444/FOR) by taking into account his last drawn pay at Rs.23,350 in the Scale of Pay of Rs.9,300 - 34,800 plus Grade Pay Rs.5,400/- instead of G P of Rs.4,900/- and pass orders thereon within a time frame, in the light of his representation dated 01.10.2018.

ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to direct the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for revision of his pensionary benefits (PPO No.R2108444/FOR) by taking into account his last drawn pay at Rs.23,350 in the Scale of Pay of Rs.9,300 - 34,800 plus Grade Pay Rs.5,400/- instead of G P of Rs.4,900/- and pass orders thereon within a time frame, in the light of his representation dated 01.10.2018.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is entered into the service as Forester in the year 1980 and promoted as Forest Range Officer in the year 2000. After rendering 33 years of service, the petitioner retired on 31.05.2013. The grievance of the petitioner is that one Mr.C.Mithran Jothi Pandian, who entered the service as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Forester in the year 1982 and promoted as Forest Ranger in the year 2009, who is junior to the petitioner and there was anomaly between them in the salary as well as the pension. The petitioner made a representation to the respondent, till date, the representation was not considered. Hence, the present writ petition filed before this Court. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the first respondent to consider the representation dated 01.10.2018 submitted by the petitioner and to dispose of the same within a reasonable time as fixed by this Court. 4.Without going into the merits of the case, I am inclined to issue direction to direct the first respondent to consider the representation dated 01.10.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
