This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.138 of 2022 dated 01.03.2022 before the concerned Court.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the investigation was completed and a closure report was filed as mistake of fact before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Omalur. The learned counsel further submitted that RCS notice was also served on the defacto complainant in RCS No.6 of 2022. 3.

In view of the above, no further orders can be passed in this Criminal Original Petition. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the closure report, it is always left open to the petitioner to work out his remedy by filing a protest petition before the Court. 4.
