ORDER

This Criminal Revision Petition has been filed to set aside the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.18440 of 2021 dated 22.09.2021 on the file of the learned Special Judge for CCB/CBCID Cases, Metropolitan Magistrate at Egmore, Chennai for return of amount to the petitioner.

2. The petitioner filed the petition in Crl.M.P.No.18440 of 2021 in CNR.No.TNCH0F-027281- 2021 on the file of the CCB & CBCID Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai for return of amount Rs.21,00,000/-. The learned trial Judge dismissed the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petition stating that it can be decided only after the completion of trial.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent and perused the materials on record.

4. Since the charge sheet taken on file in C.C.No.5051 of 2021 and the charges are yet to be framed and the trial also yet to be commenced, the trial judge is directed to deposit the said sum of Rs.21,00,000/- in any one of the nationalized bank in the interest bearing account, till the disposal of the trial. On conclusion of trial, the trial court is directed to give specific direction regarding the return of amount to be lying in the nationalized bank with accrued interest.

5. With the abovesaid direction, the Criminal Revision Case is disposed of.
