O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking direction to the learned Subordinate Judge, Tiruvallur, to dispose of the payment-out petition filed by the petitioner in I.A.SR.No.1861 of 2021 in L.A.O.P.No.59 of 1985, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, this Court fixed a sum of Rs.110/- per cent for the lands acquired from the petitioner. The difference between the amount fixed by the Subordinate Court and this Court had been deposited to the credit of L.A.O.P.No.59 of 1985. The amount deposited is Rs.1,61,427/-. The petitioner had already withdrawn the original compensation amount ordered. Now, this difference amount is available in the Court deposit. When the petitioner filed I.A.SR.No.1861 of 2021 for issuing cheque for this amount, this petition is kept pending, without assigning any number. Therefore, the present petition. 2/4

L.A.O.P. was filed in the year 1985. The amount of Rs.1,61,427/- was deposited in the Court to the credit of L.A.O.P.No.59 of 1985. This amount is due to the petitioner. Therefore, the learned Subordinate Judge, Tiruvallur, is directed to number the petition filed for payment-out, if it is otherwise in order and dispose the matter, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.
