O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioners, particularly in respect of putting up construction in the lands comprised in Survey No.603/2E Pappinaicken Halli village, Dharmapuri Taluk, Dharmapuri District.

2. The petitioners are accused in Crime No.1241 of 2021 has been facing harassment at the hands of the respondent police. Further submits that there is a civil dispute between the petitioners and one Kaliammal and under the guise of enquiry, the petitioners have been called and harassed by the respondent police.

3. The learned Government Advocate submits that the petitioners are accused in Crime No.1241 of 2021, for offences under Section 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) IPC and the petitioners have been called for enquiry alone.

4. In view of the same, this Court directs the respondent police to issue 41(a) notice to the petitioner, if the petitioners are required for any enquiry and thereafter proceed in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
