..Respondents Prayer:- This Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give necessary protection for conducting the temple festival on the Arulmiku Venkatachalapathi Thiru Kovil, which is to be held on 01.08.2016 to 03.08.2016. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give necessary protection for conducting the temple festival on the Arulmiku Venkatachalapathi Thiru Kovil, which is to be held on 01.08.2016 to 03.08.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that the representations of the petitioner dated 11.07.2016 have been sent by post to the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is directed to appear in person before the fourth respondent police along with this order and lodge a fresh complaint, containing the very same contents as stated in the previous representation dated 11.07.2016. On receipt of such complaint, the same shall be enquired into by calling all the parties including the adverse parties, if any and action be taken thereon in accordance with law, for providing police protection to conduct the temple festival peacefully. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
