O R D E R

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to issue non-traceable certificate. 2.The property originally belonged to the father of the petitioner and he has executed a settlement deed dated 30.05.1994 in favour of his wife, namely, mother of the petitioner. The petitiioner's mother had executed a settlement deed dated 30.11.2011 in favour of her son. The petitioner is said to have lost the said settlement deeds and inspite of his best efforts, he was not able to trace it. Therefore, the petitioner was taking steps to get a certified copy of the settlement deeds and he also published in the news paper about the missing sale deeds. The petitioner has also given a complaint to the respondent police about the lost documents and for the issuance of non-traceable certificate. Since the same is pending, the present petition has been filed before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to conduct an enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner and if the respondent is not able to trace the documents, the respondent police shall issue non-traceable certificate to the petitioner. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. 4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
