ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B), 25 and 29(1) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in Crime No.148 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on receipt of secret information, on 18.04.2025, the Police team attached to the respondent Police had gone to the scene of occurrence and found A1 and A2 illegally transported 6.150 kgs of ganja in a two wheeler bearing Reg.No.TN-37-DZ-7184. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has nothing to do with the alleged offence. He further submits that based on the confession of A1 & A2 the petitioner is arrayed as A4.

respondent Police submitted that the petitioner is arrayed as A4 and he has got one three previous cases of similar in nature. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the petitioner has three previous cases of similar in nature, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 27.06.2025 vv2 To 1.The Inspector of Police, PEW-Thiruchengode Police Station, Namakkal District.
