ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 1 st respondent to pass orders by appointing the Non hereditary trustees for the Arulmighu Dhanumandhi Ambal Samedha Sri Somanaadheeswarar Temple situated at Thimiri Kottai, Arcot Taluk, Ranipet District, as per the selection list forwarded by the 3 rd respondent through proceedings dated 21.12.2023.

Hard Mr.L.Mohana Murali, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Ravi Chandran, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents 1
to 5.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 1 st respondent is already in the process of acting upon the selection list that has already been forwarded by the 3 rd respondent.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court and on considering the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, there shall be a direction to the 1 st respondent to pass orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
