The petitioner is an accused in C.C.No.10096 of 2009 on the file of the learned XI Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai. Seeking to quash the said case, the petitioner is before this Court with this petition.

2. When the matter was called on 25.09.2015, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, the matter is directed to be listed today (28.09.2015) under the caption "for dismissal". Even today also there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3. Today, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that the case in C.C.No.10096 of 2009 was tried by the learned XI Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai and the accused/petitioner herein was acquitted and thus, nothing survives in this petition.
