ORDER

This Petition is filed by the petitioner to grant an extension of time for deposit of Rs.2,50,000 for complying with this Honorable Court order made in Crl R.C. No.2176 of 2023, dated 18.02.2026.

2. Mr.Thendral, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr.V.T.Narendhiran, learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that in compliance of the order dated 18.02.2026, the entire amount of Rs.5 lakhs has been paid to the respondent. The petitioner Ms.S.Varalakshmi and the respondent Ms.Sundari are also present before this court.

3. Ms.Sundari submitted that she has received the entire amount of Rs.5 lakhs today. The balance amount of Rs.50,000/- has been paid by the petitioner and received by the respondent. Thus, they submitted that both the learned

counsel for the parties as well as the parties who appeared today in person submitted that the order dated 18.02.2026 has been complied with and now, no amount is due against the petitioner. Thus, it was requested by the learned counsel for the parties that the matter may be closed in view of the order passed by this court dated 18.02.2026 as the Coordinate Bench has already allowed the Criminal Revision Case in terms of the compromise memo and the petitioner was acquitted of the offences under Section 137 of the Negotiable Instruments Act on the condition of payment of Rs.5 lakhs which has already been paid by the petitioner and the respondent has already received the same.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the parties and also in view of the observation made by this court vide order dated 18.02.2026, no further order is required to be passed and accordingly, this Criminal Revision Case is closed and the file is consigned to record. 22-06-2026 GV
