ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.R.Singaravelan, learned Senior Counsel for Mr.M.Muruganantham, learned counsel for the appellant, Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned counsel for the first respondent. and Mr.Gautham S.Raman, learned counsel for the respondents 2 to 5.

2. Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the appellant fairly conceded before this Court that the learned Single Judge has granted the relief prayed for in the writ petition, however, no specific order has been passed insofar as

commutation of pension and interest are concerned. He submitted that the appellant has made a representation to the third respondent on 27.02.2023 and the same is still pending.

3.Considering the limited scope of the prayer made, the writ appeal is disposed of directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the appellant dated 27.02.2023 and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, C.M.P.Nos.17824 and 17827 of 2024 are closed.
