Prayer: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, dealing for the concerned records relating to the letter No.13/04/2007 - S.R dated 28.02.2008 passed by the second respondent to treat the Group 'D' employees of the postal department as 'District Category' for the purpose of conducting verification of membership of service Associations for Group 'D' category excluding the postman category.

ORDER

The petitioner prays to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, dealing for the concerned records relating to the letter No.13/04/2007 - S.R dated 28.02.2008 passed by the second respondent to treat the Group 'D' employees of the postal department as 'Distinct Category' for the purpose of conducting verification of membership of service Associations for Group 'D' category excluding the postman category.

2.When the matter was called on 18.06.2018 there was no representation for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent was present hence, the matter was adjourned to 21.06.2018. On 21.06.2018 when the matter was called there was no representation for the petitioner and the matter was posted on 22.06.2018, under the caption "for dismissal". Even today i.e on 22.06.2018 when the matter is called there is no representation for the petitioner, hence the writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
