ORDER

These Civil Miscellaneous Petitions have been filed seeking extension of time to dispose of the proceedings of the V Additional Family Court, Chennai.

2. In pursuance of the direction of this Court dated 15.04.2025, directing the Interlocutory Application shall be disposed of, within a period of one (1) month from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, the present petitions have been filed.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that voluminous documents have been filed and hence, submitted that it is not possible for hearing of the Interlocutory Application in one month.

4. Per contra, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the copy of the order was received only on 11.06.2025 and the V Additional Family Court, Chennai, has time till 11.07.2025 to dispose of the application. He further submits only in an attempt to delay in proceedings, the present applications are taken out.

5. In view of the above, Registry shall call for a report from V Additional Family Court, Chennai by 27.06.2025, indicating the time required to dispose of the I.A.No.4 of 2021 and whether any further extension is required or not, apart from the time granted by this Court.

6. List this matter on 30.06.2025.
