Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents' Police 1 and 2 to produce the detenue by name Tmt. K. Kavitha who is aged about 22 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution praying to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to trace out and produce the detenue by name Kavitha, who is said to be the wife of the petitioner.

The petitioner is present and he has been identified by his counsel.

The second respondent who is the Inspector of Police, Nellikuppam Police Station, has produced the detenue and she has been identified by the petitioner.

Considering the above said facts and circumstances, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous. In fine, this petition is dismissed.
