This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.228 of 2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Today, Mr.Vinoth Kumar, Sub Inspector of Police, CCB, Chennai is present before this Court. On instructions, learned Government Advocate submitted that if three months time is granted, the police will complete the investigation.

4. Recording the same, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.228 of 2015 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a a charge sheet or closure report as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
