PRAYER in WP No. 23057 of 2025:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd, 3rd and 5th and 6th respondents to cancel the Patta No. 331 granted in favour of 8th respondent as it violates the Revenue Standing Order in G.O.Ms.No. 561, Revenue Department, dated 14.03.1979, consequently, restore the property to the petitioner in respect of the property comprised in Survey No. 22/1 measuring 0.99.0 hectors and Survey No. 22/5 measuring 0.21.50 hectors, Kalliparai Village, Kalvarayan Taluk, Kallakuruchi District based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.01.2023 within a reasonable time frame fixed by this Court.
PRAYER in WP No. 28652 of 2025:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd Respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.07.2025, to cancel the Patta No.344 granted in favour of 9th Respondent as it violates the Revenue Standing Order in G.O.Ms.No.561, Revenue Department, dated 14.03.1979, consequently restore the property to petitioners in respect of the property comprised in Survey Nos.46/1 measuring 0.24.00 hectors, Kalliparai Village, Kalvarayan Taluk, Kallakurichi District, within a reasonable time frame fixed by this Court.
PRAYER in WP No. 23062 of 2025:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th respondents to cancel the Patta No. 331 granted in favour of 8th respondent as it violates the revenue standing order in G.O.Ms No.561 Revenue department dated 14.03.1979, consequently restore the property to the petitioner in respect of the property comprised in Survey No. 45/2 measuring 0.54.0 hectors and Survey Nos. 45/4 measuring 0.13.50 hectors,
Kalliparai Village, Kalvarayan Taluk, Kallakuruchi District based on the petitioners representation dated 09.01.2023, within a reasonable time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
These writ petitions have been filed seeking for a direction to the official respondents to cancel the patta standing in the name of the 8th respondent in all these writ petitions.
2.It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents that the
representations of the petitioners seeking for cancellation of patta standing in the name of the 8th respondent in all these writ petitions have been considered and a final order has been passed in favour of the petitioners on 14.06.2023, ordering cancellation of the patta standing in the name of the 8th respondent. The Tahsildar had passed the aforesaid order and the same was challenged by the 8th respondent before the District Revenue Officer by filing an appeal. The said appeal was also dismissed on 15.07.2025, which has been put to challenge in W.P.No.34471 of 2025 by the 8th respondent.
3.The submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondent is accepted by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel appearing for the 8th respondent in all these writ petitions.
4.Since the representations of the petitioners seeking for cancellation of the patta standing in the name of the 8th respondent in all these writ petitions have been considered and a final order has been passed which is also the subject matter of challenge in W.P.No.34471 of 2025, this Court is of the considered view that the prayer sought for in these writ petitions has now become infructuous. However, it is open to the petitioners to raise all their contentions in W.P.No.34471 of 2025, where the petitioners herein are arrayed as party respondents in the said writ petition.
5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the respective contentions. This Court is inclined to dispose of all these writ petitions only on the ground that the prayer sought for in these writ petitions has now become infructuous since the representations of the petitioners have been considered by the official respondents by passing a final order, which is now put to challenge in W.P.No.34471 of 2025.
6.For the foregoing reasons, these writ petitions are disposed of as infructuous by granting liberty to the petitioner to raise all their contentions in W.P.No.34471 of 2025, where the petitioners herein are arrayed as the respondents. In order to protect the interest of the petitioner in W.P.No.34471 of 2025, this Court makes it clear that till the disposal of W.P.No.34471 of 2025 by this Court, all the parties shall maintain status quo.
