The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondents to consider his representation dated 08.02.2023 and cancel the patta issued in the name of 4th respondent and re-transfer the patta in the name of petitioner.
2. According to the petitioner, the house and the vacant land situated in Old No.133, New No.135, Pazhampettai Nallathanneerkulatheru, Kannanur Village, Chetpet Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District originally belongs to his father one Munusamy and after his death, he has been in possession and enjoyment of the same. It is stated by the petitioner that patta for the above mentioned property was wrongly transferred in the name of petitioner's paternal aunt, the 4th respondent herein and hence, he submitted a representation to the 2nd respondent seeking cancellation of the patta issued in the name of 4th respondent and issue of patta in his name. The said representation has not been considered. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner is before this Court by way of writ petition.
3. Mr.Am.Ayyathurai, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice 2/4
for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that representation of the petitioner dated 08.02.2023 is in the nature of appeal to the 2nd respondent and the same will be considered on its' own merits within a time fixed by this Court.

In view of the said position, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.02.2023 and dispose of the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order after issuing necessary notice to the petitioner as well as the 4th respondent.
