Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records relating to the petitioner's son's detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order dated 02.06.2024 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings RC.No.95/2024/M6-D.O.21/202, quash the same as illegal and consequently

direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's son namely Dinesh @ Yannai Kadhu, aged 25 years son of Karunanithi, before this Court and set him at liberty, now the petitioner's son is detained at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai - 600 066.

Mr.E.Raj Thilak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority and thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken.
