C.M.P.No.17351 of 2021 in C.M.A.SR.No.92257 of 2021 P.T. ASHA, J., This petition is filed to condone the delay of 257 days in filing the above appeal in C.M.A.SR.No.92257 of 2021.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/appellant and M/s.M.B.Gopalan Associates, M.B.Raghavan, learned counsel, who takes notice on behalf of the second respondent-Insurance Company.
3. The learned counsel for the second respondent has no objection for this petition being allowed.
4. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, this petition is allowed and the delay of 257 days in filing the above appeal in C.M.A.SR.No.92257 of 2021 is condoned.
5. It is made clear that the claimant will not be entitled for any interest for the delay period of 257 days.
6. The Registry is directed to print the name of M/s.M.B.Gopalan Associates, M.B.Raghavan as learned counsel for the second respondent-Insurance Company.
