Prayer: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the Notification issued by the 1st respondent dated 5th November, 2004 under Sub section(4) Section 41 of the Motor Vehicles Act 1988 in S.O.No.1248 (E), quash the same in so far as it includes all types of van under the category transport vehicle and direct the 3rd respondent to register the Van (LMV OMNI BUS) of the petitioner under the caption 'Van for Private Use' (LMV OMNI BUS).

When the matter was called on 19.06.2018 morning there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and therefore, the matter was passed over to 2:15 p.m. Even at 2:15 p.m there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, the Registry was directed to post the Writ Petition on 20.06.2018 under the caption 'for dismissal'. Even today, (20.06.2018) when the matter is called there is no representation for the petitioner.
