ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the respondent to produce the petitioner's car - Maruthi Suzuki Swift Dzire, bearing Registration No.TN-43-F-8717, Engine No.D13A5201234, Chassis No.MA3FSE81S00512614, within stipulated period in compliance of the direction issued in Crl.M.P.No.2026 of 2025, dated 06.03.2025 in Crime No.322 of 2024 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Vellore, Vellore District.

2. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the vehicle in question, which was seized from the petitioner, was handed over to the Judicial Magistrate No.3, Vellore and the case has also been taken on file in C.C.No.75 of 2025 with regard to the offences under Sections 329(2) and 309(3) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha, 2023.

3. Since the above vehicle was already produced before the Judicial Magistrat-1, Vellore and the case has been taken on file, the relief sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous. Hence, this petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy before the Court concerned.
