ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 17.08.2017 passed in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Crl.OP.No.16565 of 2017.

2.Mr.Balraj, Inspector of Police, Perambalur, is present through Video Conferencing.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the respondent Police conducted an enquiry in CSR No.584 of 2017 and on enquiry, the respondent Police found that it is purely a civil dispute and therefore the CSR was closed on 12.07.2017. The Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint was closed even before the order was passed by this Court on 17.08.2017.

3.In view of the above, no further orders can be passed in this petition and it is left open to the petitioner to workout his remedy in accordance with law.
