The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 21.01.2019 and transfer patta to the names of the petitioners in respect of 2000 sq.m. of land in S.No.126/4, Patta No.263, Tambaram Village. 2.It is the grievance of the petitioners that inspite of their representation dated 21.01.2019, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order so far.

3.Mr.Manigopi, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent had issued notice to the petitioners calling upon them to be present for an enquiry on 06.01.2021 and that the 2nd respondent would pass orders within four weeks thereafter.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents to the effect that the 2nd respondent would conduct enquiry and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from 06.01.2021, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
