ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the third respondent herein or his men from cutting the tamarind tress standing the 2C Patta land bearing S.F.No.796/2C at No.22, Nanjundapuram Village, Coimbatore North Taluk, Coimbatore District, in the light of the 2C patta granted to the petitioner by the third respondent herein vide Na.Ka.No.17987/2001/A8, dated 22.01.2001, without following the due process of law.

Heard Mr.M.Venkadeshan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.P.Balathandayutham, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.M.Rajasekar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

Therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
