ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.432 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted

that the investigation in this case has been completed and a final report was filed before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Coimbatore on 11.02.2026 and the same is yet to be taken on file.

3. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Coimbatore to take appropriate steps to scrutinize and taken the final report on file, if it is otherwise in order, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of defects or deficiencies being noticed, the same shall be intimated to the investigating officer and rectified in accordance with law at the earliest.
