These miscellaneous petitions have been filed seeking extension of time to prefer appeal before the District Collector under Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905.

Satisfied with the reasons stated in para 8 of the accompanying affidavits, we are inclined to grant a week's time for preferring appeal, from today. It is made clear that if no appeal is preferred within one week as stated above, the authority concerned shall take appropriate action.

These miscellaneous petitions are ordered.
