further fresh summons forthwith within the time fixed by this Court calling upon the petitioner, 3rd respondent and local people with further direction to issue the report of the survey to the petitioner within the time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy, J.) We heard learned counsel for the petitioner Mr.S.Makesh.

2. This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to conduct a survey of the property bearing Survey No.448/1 and 2 (Old S.No.80/1 and 2) at Nerkundram Village, Maduravoyal Taluk, Chennai.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that summons dated 09.12.2020 for purposes of the conducting survey was not acted

upon by the authority, and that another summons has been issued fixing the date for survey. As such, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition, inasmuch as the relief prayed for by the petitioner has been granted. However, it is made clear that the survey shall be concluded within a reasonable time.
