The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking to issue direction to the XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, to take up and dispose of Crl.M.P.No.4876 of 2024 filed by the petitioner, expeditiously, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court. 1 / 3

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed a protest petition before the Court below in the month of February 2024, but till date, the same is pending in S.R. stage itself. Now only, notice was received by the petitioner for reporting.

3. The learned XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, is directed to expedite the hearing of the said Crl.M.P.No.4876 of 2024 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law as soon as possible.
