Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in CRL.A.NO.536 OF 2020 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to suspend the sentence made in Spl.C.C.No.10 of 2019 on the file of the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of cases under POCSO Act, Coimbatore dated 18.02.2020 and enlarge him on bail in CRL.A.NO.536 OF 2020 [IN CRL.MP.NO.8818 OF 2020] Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in CRL.A.NO.536 OF 2020 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.S.N.ARUNKUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.PRABAKAR, ADDITIONAL PUBLIC PROSECUTOR on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- (Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH,J.) It is the case of the prosecution that the petitioner ravished a fourteen year old girl, who has become pregnant and delivered a child; the petitioner repudiated the relationship and got married to another woman in the meanwhile. 2.
Taking into consideration the serious nature of allegations of the case, this is not a fit case to grant suspension of sentence and bail.
