PRAYER: Civil Revision Petitions filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeking to direct the learned XIII Small Causes Court at Chennai to dispose of the R.C.A.No.759 of 2018 and R.C.A.No.778 of 2018 respectively filed by the respondent within a specified time fixed by this Court.

For Petitioner (in both CRPs') :

Mr.N.Suresh COMMON ORDER The revision petitioner is a Senior Citizen and he seeks early disposal of the Rent Control Appeals filed in the year 2018 pending on the file of XIII Small Causes Court, Chennai.

2. Persual of the records goes to show that Rent Control Appeals viz., R.C.A.No.778 of 2018 was filed on 08.10.2018 and R.C.A.No.759 of 2018 was filed on 11.10.2018. It is true that the petitioner is a Senior Citizen. There are other similar appeals filed by senior citizens prior to the above Rent Control Appeals could be pending before the Appellate Authority.

3. Considering the submissions made by the leared counsel appearing for the petitioner, a direction is issued to the learned XIII Judge, Small Causes Court, Chennai, to dispose of the appeals in R.C.A.No.759 of 2018 and R.C.A.No.778 of 2018 respectively, according to seniority with reference to age of senior citizens and seniority of appeals filed by senior citizens pending before it, as expeditiously as possible.

4. The Civil Revision Petitions are disposed of accordingly. No costs.
