ORDER

The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitions filed by the petitioner seeking enhancement of compensation in Award No.14/2011 dated 19.08.2011.

2. Challenging the award passed by the Competent Authority, the second respondent herein, in the matter of acquisition of the petitioner's land in Survey No.5/8B, the petitioner has preferred an appeal under 3G(5) of the National Highways Act. 1956.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the matter is pending for the last seven years and remain in hibernation-mode.

4. Heard Mr.D.Raja, Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to dispose of the case of the petitioner through a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six

(6) months from today, after providing a fair and effective hearing to the petitioner.
