ORDER
The revision petitioner is the 1st defendant in O.S.No.141 of 2022. The revision petitioner now seeks expeditious disposal of the said suit in O.S.No.141 of 2022 pending before the learned District Munsif,
2. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.
3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and I have also gone through the materials placed before this Court.
4. The major grievance of the petitioner/1st defendant is that he is a Senior Citizen and despite pleadings having been completed, the trial is yet to commence.

5. Considering the fact that the suit is of the year 2022 and the same is pending for the past three years, this Court issues direction to the learned District Munsif, Namakkal to commence the trial in O.S.No.141 of 2022 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording opportunity of hearing to the parties.
6. Accordingly, this Civil revision petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs.

The learned counsel for the fifth respondent has made a mention after the order has been passed disposing the revision petition on 22.07.2025.
2. Accordingly, today, the matter is listed under the cause list caption 'FOR BEING MENTIONED'.
3. The learned counsel for the fifth respondent would state that the fifth respondent has filed a suit in O.S.No.176 of 2022 which is pending before the Additional District Munsif Court, Namakkal and the subject matter of the present revision is the same as in O.S.No.141 of 2022 which is pending before the Principal District Munsif Court,
4. According to the learned counsel for the fifth respondent, the transfer OP has been filed before the Principal District Munsif Court Page No.5 of 8
seeking to transfer of O.S.No.176 of 2022 from the file of the Additional District Munsif Court to the file of Principal District Munsif Court to be tried along with O.S.No.141 of 2022 and the said OP is yet to be numbered. Hence, he states that a direction issued by this Court on 22.07.2025 to dispose of only O.S.No.141 of 2022 would cause extreme hardship to the parties.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioner in the revision petition states that he has no serious objections to issue a direction to jointly try both the suits. It is also brought to the notice of this Court by learned counsel for the fifth respondent that even in O.S.No.176 of 2022, the trial is yet to commence.
6. In the light of the above submission, I am inclined to suomotu transfer O.S.No.176 of 2022 from the file of the Additional District Munsif Court, Namakkal to the file of the Principal District Munsif Court, Namakkal, to be jointly tried along with O.S.No.141 of 2022. The parties shall co-operate with learned Principal District Munsif Court, Namakkal to dispose of both the suits as expeditiously as possible. The Page No.6 of 8
learned Principal District Munsif, Namakkal, is directed to dispose of both the suits by the end of February 2026.
7. This order shall be read along with the order dated 22.07.2025 made in C.R.P.No.3108 of 2025.
