O R D E R
(The case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioners to enlarge the petitioners on bail in the event of their arrest in connection with FIR No.172/2020 pending investigation on the file of the first respondent.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that a false complaint has been given against the petitioners before the first respondent Police, in the State of Andhra Pradesh and they have nothing to do with the said allegations. He would further submit that the petitioners are staying in Chennai, therefore, they seek four weeks time to appear before the concerned Jurisdictional Court and apply for Anticipatory Bail
and till then, the petitioners may be granted Anticipatory Bail to enable them to approach the appropriate jurisdictional Court seeking for necessary relief.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that the there is a case pending against the petitioners before the first respondent police station.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant interim anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
5. The interim anticipatory bail is granted to the petitioners for a period of four weeks, on condition that the petitioners shall surrender before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Saidapet, within a period of fifteen days from the date on which the order copy is made ready and the petitioners shall execute bonds for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) each with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said learned Magistrate. Further, within two weeks from the date of execution of bail bond, the petitioners shall approach the competent jurisdictional Court and seek appropriate relief, failing which, this anticipatory bail shall automatically get cancelled.
