Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of declaration that the petitioner institution as an unaided, self-financing non-minority institution, is entitled to fill up the 100% seats and that the State of Tamil Nadu is not entitled to set apart a "Government Quota" for admission of candidates to graduate and post-graduate courses in the petitioner institution and consequentially forbear the State of Tamil Nadu from in any manner interfering with the right of the petitioner to admit students in the undergraduate and post-graduate courses without setting apart any seats for Government quota. 2.However, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Special Government Pleader (Education) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that since the relief sought for herein is related to the year 2010, nothing survives for adjudication at this distant point of time.

3.In view of the above submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
