ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to forthwith declare the petitioner as Approved Probationer as per Section 32(2) of Tamil Nadu Government Servant (Condition of Service) Act, 2016 in the post of Driver with all consequential service and other benefits arising thereto.

2.The grievance of the Writ Petitioner is that he has been appointed as Driver in the respondent Corporation on 21.07.2015 and completed eight years of unblemished service. Though he was placed on probation, his probation has not been declared sofar as per Section 32(2) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servant (Condition and Service) Act, 2016 (Act 14/2016). In this regard, a representation was given by the petitioner on 12.04.2020, however, no orders have been passed. 3.Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on merits as per Section 32(2) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servant (Condition and Service) Act, 2016 (Act 14/2016), within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
