O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the the respondents to forthwith consider and pass orders on the applications of the petitioner dated 21.03.2019 and 10.12.2020.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that though he has given his applications dated 21.03.2019 and 10.12.2020 seeking for issuance of patta, the respondents have not passed any order sofar.

3. Mr. Annai Ezhil, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents submitted that the land in question is a "Tharisu land" and therefore, no patta can be issued to the petitioner. However, the 4th respondent has not passed any order on the applications given by the petitioner.

4. In these circumstances, I direct the 4th respondent to pass suitable orders on the petitioner's applications dated 21.03.2019 and 10.12.2020, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
