The petitioner / landlord who initiated proceedings to evict the respondents/tenants in R.L.T.O.P.No.18 of 2024 before the District Munsif Court, Ambattur, is before this Court seeking expeditious disposal of R.L.T.O.P.No.18 of 2024.
2. Heard Mr.B.Vijay, leaned counsel for the petitioner.
3. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in this Revision, notice to the respondent is dispensed with. P.B. BALAJI,J.

4. Under the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenant Act, 2017, RLTOP has to be disposed of within a period of three months. In this case, R.L.T.O.P has been filed in the year 2024 and it has been kept pending for a year which goes against the letter and spirit of the enactment itself. Hence, the learned District Munsif Court, Ambattur, is directed to dispose of R.L.T.O.P.No.18 of 2024, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision petition is disposed of. No costs.
