..Respondent(s) Prayer: To amend the prayer of the writ petition directing the (i) directing the respondents 1 and 2 to issue a G.O. confirming the equivalence of M.Sc. (Agriculture) in Environmental Science (year 2020-2022) issued to the petitioner as equivalent to M.Sc. Environmental Science for the purpose of employment in public Services on the analogy of Table Agenda No. 6 in G.O.M.S.No.29 dated 09.02.2021 within a reasonable time and (ii) consequently direct the 3rd respondent to extend the time stipulated in the Temporary Allotment order bearing C.No.94/ PSD - G3/ 2025 dated 25.05.2026 for submission of the required document of the Government order relating to

equivalence of educational qualification for the post of Environmental Scientist in the Tamil Nadu Pollution control Board pursuant to Notification No 09/2025 dated 21.05.2025 and consequently consider the petitioner appointment on merits without cancelling the petitioner provisional selection, and pass Directing the (i) respondents No.1 and 2 to issue the equivalence certificate as already issued in G.O.(M.S) No.29 dated 09.05.2021 within a reasonable time and (ii) Consequently direct the 3rd respondent to extend the time stipulated in the Temporary Allotment Order bearing C.No.94/PSD-G3/2025 dated 25.05.2026 for submission of the required document of the Government Order relating to equivalence of educational qualification for the Post of Environmental Scientist in the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board pursuant to Notification No.09/2025 dated 21.05.2025 and consequently consider the petitioners appointment on merits without cancelling petitioner provisional selection.

ORDER

The present petition is filed to amend the prayer in W.P.No.21630 of 2026.

2.The learned counsel for the respondents have no objection to the amendment petition being allowed.

3.Accordingly, the present Writ Miscellaneous Petition is ordered. The respondents are directed to file a counter to the amended petition. 4.Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendments and post the Writ Petition on 06.07.2026.
