This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.57 of 2014 dated 29.03.2014.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Today Mr.Subramanian, Inspector of Police, EDF-III, CCB, Chennai is present before this Court. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] submitted that one of the accused filed Crl.O.P.No.413 of 2015 for quashing the FIR.

4. On verification in the registry, it is seen that this Court has not granted any stay of the investigation. Therefore, the police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.57 of 2014 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a charge sheet or a closure report as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
